Mahindra and Mahindra just revealed the price of the much waited off reader, Mahindra Thar. The BS IV complaint variant with the CRDe engine with 4WD will be available for a price tag of INR 5.99 lakh rupees (ex-showroom Delhi) whereas the BS III complaint 2WD version with the DI engine will be yours for a price of INR 4.47 lac (ex showroom-Jaipur). This masterpiece will be offered in four colors, Fiery Black, Toreador Red, Mist Silver and Rocky Beige.
Performance
The powerful Mahindra Thar features stunning NEF CRDe Turbocharged Intercooler, euro IV engine which is the real reason behind spectacular strength of this gypsy. This turbocharged engine is coupled with 5 speed manual transmission. Mahindra Thar is designed in such a manner that it will make itself the first choice for those who demand power and bold looks.

The safety of a passenger on off road drive plays a major role as bad roads leads to severe accidents and to avoid that, Mahindra Thar is given classic ladder frame chassis and body-on-frame construction for strength, rigidity and great shock absorbing capability.
